The second of the Midnight's trilogy about growing up, we have moved from 80s childhood to 90s adolescence. A step up from "Kids," this album still has the distinct bittersweetness the Midnight is so known for, but there are more moments of joy and peace ("Dance With Somebody," "The Search For Ecco," "Prom Night"), plus the triumphant return of the sax ("Deep Blue"). Even amidst the chaos of 2020, this album brought me genuine serenity. "We are one beating heart," indeed. cosmopolis
I ran into the “Out of Time” music video and tears fell down my face as I listened & watched. …bought the album immediately. “Hold on Tight” is an awesome track.
